With Count Nouns, you can use the words “There are”:

 

There are a few cars   There are a lot of shoes
There are many houses   There are a few cups
There are some birds   There are some people

 

 

With Noncount Nouns, you can use the words “There is”:

 

There is a little time   There is some cake
There is a lot of corn   There is much love
There is some milk   There is a lot of money

 

Write 2 sentences with “There is” and 2 sentences with “There are”:

         There is some milk in the kitchen.
