A DOGGY STORY
He is small. He is furry. Has a tail. He has a heart.
Just like me, he feels pain, cannot talk, but likes to bark.
He was locked, in a small cage, all alone, never went out.
He felt cold, was beaten, was hungry, was always sad.
So I saved him, brought him home, asked him to stay.
Very slowly, he learned to love, he learned to play.
Now like me, he has food, he is warm, he is happy.
I’m not alone, I have a friend, who really loves me.
