How Far Does the Culture Argument Go?

When those outside one culture analyze and condemn the practices of another, a showcase of "Different Points of View" comes into effect. Yet who is right and who is wrong is exactly what is to be decided. When the issue literally takes on the severity of life or death the argument becomes ever-more important to both sides vying for supreme clarity. A central tenet to the justification-mindedness of the Korean practice utilizes exactly this sensitive pretext: consumption of companion animals in Korea is merely a matter of cultural differences, where those demanding change are being culturally insensitive, even imperialistic. We present three compelling articles intended to "de-bunk" the rationale that what one culture does is it's own business and warrants NO interference from those outside it's boundaries.
