Postal Mailing List
IAKA and IAKA UK maintain a postal mailing list for the purposes of distributing a quarterly newsletter as well as various updates, campaigns, and donor correspondence. Persons who request information by mail as well as donors who supply mailing information will be added to this list. To be added or removed from the mailing list at any time, contact IAKA by phone, mail or email.
E-mail Alerts
IAKA maintains an e-mail list to provide action alerts, information, and campaign updates to subscribers. Subscription to this mailing list is voluntary and e-mail addresses will not be shared with third parties, with the exception of the list provider, YahooGroups. The privacy policy for Yahoo and its programs is available here. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. Persons who provide their email address to IAKA may receive an invitation to subscribe to the list, but will not be automatically subscribed.
Credit Card Transactions
In the event of an online donation through www.koreananimals.org, personal information (name, address, credit card number) will be collected and processed securely by Verisign. Credit card numbers are collected for the sole purpose of processing transactions are not shared with IAKA or any other agency or third party. Other information, when provided, may be used for the purposes addressed above.
IP Statistics
IAKA logs information about visitors, including IP addresses, date/time visited, referring website, length of stay, browser information, etc. This information is used for site statistics only with the intention of providing a more enjoyable and accessible web browsing experience for our users. IP statistics are anonymous and will not be used to identify individual users.
